Superb career opportunities with Chanctonbury Healthcare as it opens its first Dorset home
Weymouth Manor, Chanctonbury’s brand new, purpose-built care home will open its doors to residents this summer, creating many care and support jobs – and recruitment is now open.
Situated on Radipole Lane, Weymouth Manor offers residential care for 66 residents. Set in stunning gardens, the focus at Weymouth Manor is on tailored care and creating a community which is welcoming and rewarding to live and work in.
Weymouth Manor will enjoy a number of fabulous facilities which includes a sky bar, library, tea room and cinema, as well as a hair and beauty salon. The property has been designed and built around the needs and requirements of the residents, and furnished with love, care and attention to the little details that make feel like home.
Our support and care teams are encouraged to take time to get to know our residents and being able to smile and chat with them is a core element of every role. Chanctonbury Healthcare is currently recruiting for a number of roles, including care assistants, support, kitchen and domestic staff and welcome applicants.
With three other homes in Sussex, Weymouth Manor is both Chanctonbury’s fourth residential home and its first property in Dorset.
Lisa Barnes-Metcalf, Home Manager at Weymouth Manor said, “Everyone at Chanctonbury is thrilled and delighted to open our first home in Dorset and we are actively seeking staff to come and join us on our journey. Working in a brand new home during its opening is a fabulous way to understand how the home operates, but it also allows staff to make a real impact as we prepare – as a team – to open our doors to new residents. It is an exciting time but, for our staff, it represents the start of the opportunities to progress their career. We are a progressive employer and help every member of staff to make the most of their role. We are dedicated to training and development and believe that our staff are well worth investing in.”
Continuing, Lisa said, “As a residential care home, we bring together the best of the personal touches with highly professional care; for us, our staff are a huge part of our community and it’s their commitment and dedication that makes life so wonderful for our residents.”
Chanctonbury Healthcare promotes learning and development across all job roles within their residential homes, from senior care staff to domestic roles and are recruiting now.
