Fabulous new care home in Weymouth welcomes potential residents to view purpose-built residential property

The team at Chanctonbury Healthcare’s new care home, Weymouth Manor, is delighted to invite familes to join them and see how this gorgeous new care home could be just what they’re looking for.

Manager Lucy Yao is looking forward to showing families all that Weymouth Manor has to offer. Speaking of its impending opening, Lucy said, “We’re fast approaching our opening date and we’re so very happy to be able to show people around our new care home. This is our first home in Dorset, and we think that families will warm to the care and attention to detail we have created at Weymouth Manor. With 66 en-suite bedrooms on offer, this is a great opportunity to come along, take a tour and maybe even put your name down for a particular room, provisionally. We’ve worked hard to recruit skilled and caring team members and we’d love families to come and get to know them and find out more about day-today life at Weymouth Manor.

Weymouth Manor is a purpose-built property that has placed the resident experience at the heart of everyday life. Surrounded by well-kept, beautiful grounds, Weymouth Manor offers tailored care and a range of facilities that families and residents will adore.

From taking tea and cake in our tea room to a blockbuster movie on a wet afternoon with some freshly popped popcorn in the cinema, Weymouth Manor has everything that residents need. Designed and decorated with comfort and ease at the fore front of every decision, the Weymouth Manor team cannot wait to show this fabulous new care home off to the very people that will eventually become Weymouth Manor’s very own community.

Our management team can count on many years of experience across nursing and residential care, with a support team that is highly skilled in their areas, including a chef Simon that has cooked for royalty! With the first round of staff recruitment now complete, the opening team is in place but there will be further vacancies in the future for those wanting to join a caring brand and a passionate, resident-facing team.

Contact Manager, Esther Sheppard, said, “Having worked in the care sector since 2015, I know how important it is to be there for families to help them make the right decision for them – whatever that may be. I will work with our prospective families to understand what they need and how we, at Chanctonbury Healthcare, will be able to support them at this time.”

Weymouth Manor Manager, Lucy Yao, said, “This is a great time to see our home. Our tours will be running soon and it’s your chance to come along and meet us and to see just how comfortable and caring our home is. You’ll be able to explore both our rooms and our facilities, as well as enjoy our gardens. There will also be time to enjoy a cup of tea and chat with our team.
