Our award winning training academy
Our in-house training academy offers exceptional training to all our staff, as well as driving team development with QCFs (NVQs) and other fascinating courses. This year our staff have had training on caring for the deceased with a noted funeral director, tissue viability training with an expert, dysphasia and diabetes training, to name just a few of our fascinating training courses.
Our training manager won the award for Woman in Education at the 2018 Women in Business awards and is passionate about supporting the team to develop as much as possible in a method tailored to them. Whether you prefer group training, workbooks, e-learning or workshops. Best of all, our team are paid for all training hours!
We want to thank our staff for going over and above their normal hours, so our team get paid an overtime enhancement for any additional shifts they do.
Healthcare costs paid back to you

No need to worry about costs before starting work
You shouldn’t have to pay for the things you can’t do your job without.
That’s why we pay for uniforms, DBS costs (subject to successful completion of probation) and all mandatory training.
Paid breaks and lunches
If you are in work for twelve hours, we think you should be paid for twelve hours. Not only do we pay our team for breaks and lunches, if you work a long day we provide delicious, freshly prepared lunches for free.
Our nurse's revalidation programme
At Chanctonbury Healthcare we understand how complicated and time-consuming revalidation can be for nurses. We want to support our hard-working, dedicated nurse team to complete their revalidation as easily as they can.
That’s why we set up the Chanctonbury revalidation programme, including dedicated CPD training for all nurses, revalidation tool folders given to every nurse and revalidation events to thank our nurses for all their hard work.

Delivering in house training tailored to the individual, the Chanctonbury Academy gives our staff expert training in all areas. We offer the mandatory courses in house in whatever way is best for you (training sessions, workbooks, e-learning and more). The academy can also support you in obtaining external qualifications such as NVQs or specialist courses such as counselling. We are committed to developing our staff, and were delighted to have this recognised by the Women in Business awards, where we won the award for Women in Education in 2018.
