Lucy Yao – Home Manager
Hello, my name is lucy, and I am the home manager of Weymouth Manor care home. I am a qualified nurse for over 20 years and have held various mangagment positions in different care providers. I am passionate in building a team with compassion, knowledge and skills in caring for people, so you and your loved ones feel safe, assured and well cared for 24/7 in our beautiful home.
I am looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our home.
Esther Sheppard – Contact Manager
I joined the Chanctonbury team in 2022 to support the with open of our brand new home Weymouth Manor. I have work within care since 2015 supporting families and individuals find the right care solution for them. As Home Admissions Advisor, I am dedicated to making a positive difference at what can be an emotional time for residents and their loved ones. Every effort goes into enhancing and enriching the lives of residents here and ensuring that they find the right care solution that is bespoke to them. It is a privilege to be part of the amazing team and seeing the residents flourish and fulfilled.

Helen Murphy – Home Administrator
I have spent most of my career within the banking industry, and I have been involved in administration and HR. I will be looking after the administration of the Home including billing, recruitment and looking after the Reception Team. I am looking forward to welcoming new residents and their families to the Home.
Rob Smith – Maintenance Manager
I’ve been employed at Weymouth manor from 2022 and only been in the care industry for around a year. I’ve always been a hands on practical person maybe from my time in the Royal Engineers. I am here for anything you need fixing from a lightbulb not working to a leaking tap and also keeping the building safe and compliant.

Simon Lewis – Head Chef
I have worked for Chanctonbury healthcare since 2022. I have been a care chef for 8 years, previously in fine dining catering, cooking for Prince Harry and Prince William during their period in the army. I am a previous winner of the NACC Southwest Care chef of the year 2 years running. I am passionate about giving our residents what they want and need, enriching our residents live with food, bringing an innovative dining experience to enhance lives. We have an experienced and approachable dining team here at Weymouth manor so do not hesitate to ask us any questions or request.
Emma – Head of Activities
My experience in delivering activities within the sector combined with the time I spent in the creative arts industry, means the range of activities we have at Weymouth Manor offers endless opportunities for everyone to express and learn new skills in a relaxed homely atmosphere.
Inspired by our residents and taking time to listen to their stories, our activities will make them smile as well as enabling therapeutic engagement with a holistic approach. I’m really looking forward to capturing some wonderful memories at Weymouth Manor.
Julie – Head Housekeeper
I joined the Chanctonbury team in July 2022 after moving to Weymouth from Gloucestershire. I have worked in the cleaning industry for many years. I spent the last 5 years working in a Pride of Britain Hotel & Spa in Tetbury. I worked my way up to Supervisor of the Housekeeping Team.
