Meet Our Weymouth Manor Team
At Weymouth Manor, it’s unsurprising that we are dedicated to caring for people. We love to look after our residents and we’re invested in their happiness and wellbeing. Our team is committed to providing high quality residential care. Working at Weymouth is a positive and empowering way of life.
Louise Mclaughlin – General Manager
I am the General Manager. I have worked in the care industry for 17 years, starting as a night care assistant, working my way up to be part of the senior management team. I am very passionate about my role and endeavour to manage the team who work to the highest possible standard, delivering high-quality person-centred care to all residents. Life at Weymouth Manor Care Home is a new chapter in an individual’s life, still with memories to be made and wishes to be granted, and I feel very fortunate to be part of this journey for all residents.
I look forward to seeing you all.
Sarah Spearing – Deputy Manager
I qualified as a nurse in 2007, and since then I have worked in different aspects of the health care profession. I am responsible for overseeing the nursing and residential care delivered at Weymouth Manor. With dignity and respect at the heart of everything we do, we aim to provide outstanding person-centred care to all our residents within a homely environment. I look forward to meeting you all.
Julie – Head Housekeeper
I joined the Chanctonbury team in July 2022 after moving to Weymouth from Gloucestershire. I have worked in the cleaning industry for many years. I spent the last 5 years working in a Pride of Britain Hotel & Spa in Tetbury. I worked my way up to Supervisor of the Housekeeping Team.
Emma – Head of Activities
My experience in delivering activities within the sector combined with the time I spent in the creative arts industry, means the range of activities we have at Weymouth Manor offers endless opportunities for everyone to express and learn new skills in a relaxed homely atmosphere.
Inspired by our residents and taking time to listen to their stories, our activities will make them smile as well as enabling therapeutic engagement with a holistic approach. I’m really looking forward to capturing some wonderful memories at Weymouth Manor.
Rob Smith – Maintenance Manager
I’ve been employed at Weymouth manor from 2022 and only been in the care industry for around a year. I’ve always been a hands on practical person maybe from my time in the Royal Engineers. I am here for anything you need fixing from a lightbulb not working to a leaking tap and also keeping the building safe and compliant.
I look forward to seeing you all.
Ula Adamczyk – Clinical Lead Nurse
I have been a Nurse for over 15 years now, and I continue to work towards my professional development.
I have completed my level 5 qualification in leadership and management and have had recent experience as a care home Deputy Manager as well as a Clinical Lead Nurse in the past.
A decision to join a new care home was the best thing I could ever do. All staff are very welcoming and supportive.
As a Clinical lead, I work closely with the Nurse Manager and the Nursing Team to ensure that our residents receive the best person-centred care.
I enjoy being a nurse and love having the opportunity to support our residents and the whole team.
Pudsey has visited three schools in Weymouth to spread awareness of this week’s Children in Need campaign and to make children smile.
