Now open and welcoming residents!
We are delighted to announce that our Weymouth Manor care home is open and welcoming new residents. Situated in the bright and sunny seaside town of Weymouth, our new residential and nursing home is dedicated to delivering personally tailored care. With a cup of tea and slice of cake with visiting friends or family, a cinema afternoon or arts and crafts activity, trip to the seafront for fish and chips on offer, you simply have to decide how much or little you want to get involved in.
How you feel at Weymouth Manor is just as important as what you do with your time. Our care plans are built around each individual resident, with meal plans developed to reflect the tastes and nutritional needs of our community.
Our beautifully landscaped gardens will be a wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon; if you can tear yourself away from our cinema, library, garden room, tea room, our bright and airy shared spaces or our in-home hair and beauty salon.

What’s On at Weymouth
Our activities schedule will change all the time but much-loved activities will be able to be enjoyed time and time again. We know from our other homes that residents appreciate their daily routine and they know that they can always count on something fun, engaging and interesting to put their mind to. We understand how important it is to many of our residents to look their best and we will encourage them to make an appointment at our in-home salon for a blow dry or a fabulous treatment. Our cinema programme will strike a balance between the best of the new films and the classics that stand the test of time. Our residents can look forward to seeing what’s ‘coming soon’. Keeping an agile mind is just as important and our regular quizzes and singalongs will enable our residents to challenge their minds. Physical activity is also a focus for our activities team, matching physical activity to residents’ capabilities, from walks out to chair-based exercises.
Balanced Menus
Our head chef and kitchen team are on hand to support all our residents to eat a balanced, nutritious and tasty diet. This also includes taking care of any dietary requirements before the meal is served. Our residents love to simply sit down and dine, knowing that shopping, food preparation and clearing up has all been taken care of for them. Meals are home cooked and menus are varied but full of tasty options that please everyone. Our chef will work hard to use locally sourced products and creates menus that feature seasonal produce, with high days and holidays a special time. Baking is an important part of our in-home catering, which means there’ll always be a slice of cake and a cup of tea to look forward to with new friends in Weymouth Manor or when family pop in to visit.
Care With Respect
It’s very important that we treat our residents with dignity and respect while, at the same time, ensuring that each and every one of their care needs are met. Care plans are personally tailored and we make sure that our residents understand their care plan too. Our care team will spend plenty of time with each resident, which means that their care is wrapped around some meaningful and important human connection. It’s important that our residents feel listened to and this is as important part of their care plan as any medication. We’ll talk them through how they’re feeling and work to soothe away any issues or questions that they have. If it’s important to them, it’s important to our team.
Wonderful Weymouth
We’ve developed Weymouth Manor to work best for its residents, from the comfortable en-suite rooms that offer privacy and comfort, to the bright and airy spaces that allow our community to come together and catch up with friends every day. There’s everything that you might expect to find in a high-quality residential care home, but perhaps some surprises. Meals are served in our fabulous dining room, where residents will be able to move through to after enjoying a pre-dinner drink in our in-home bar. Our residents can spread out to take part in arts and crafts or retire to their favourite armchair to get lost in a good book on winter’s afternoon. There will be just as much going on outside as inside Weymouth Manor and residents can step outside to see what’s new in the garden, from tumbling leaves in Autumn to the brave snowdrops that herald the start of a new Spring.
